Rockland’s Business & Community Alliance

Pink Poppy Flowers

Supporting local businesses. Strengthening our community. Creating opportunities for the next generation.

WHO WE ARE

Meet Next Gen is a Rockland County-based nonprofit organization committed to:

Supporting Local Businesses

Supports local businesses by providing affordable access to visibility, networking, and community engagement. We understand that small businesses often lack the marketing budgets and connections of larger corporations. Through our membership program, monthly networking events, podcast features, and promotional platforms, we create accessible opportunities for businesses to grow, connect, and build credibility within Rockland County. Our goal is to help local businesses increase exposure, build relationships, and become long-term contributors to our local economy.

Promoting Community Collaboration

We believe real progress happens when businesses, nonprofits, government leaders, and residents work together. Meet Next Gen serves as a bridge between sectors, connecting entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and families by creating structured spaces for collaboration, such as networking events, community drives, and public initiatives. We encourage partnerships that strengthen Rockland as a whole. We also believe collaboration reduces duplication, builds trust, and amplifies impact.

Providing Platforms for Visibility and Growth

Visibility is one of the most powerful tools for small businesses and community organizations. Meet Next Gen provides multiple promotional platforms, including:

• Social media community bulletin
• Newsletters
• Check the FAQ w/ Qui Talks Podcast feature
• Vendor opportunities at major events
• Networking showcases

These platforms give businesses and organizations a professional space to tell their stories, promote their services, and build brand recognition in Rockland County. Growth begins with being seen, and we ensure our members are seen.

From Vision to Impact

What started as a mission to uplift youth and families has grown into a dynamic alliance strengthening Rockland’s business and community landscape.

Meet Next Gen was founded in 2019 when Quisha Coleman returned home to Rockland County and saw a community she loved facing new challenges. Wanting to uplift spirits and create positive outlets for youth and families, she launched Meet Next Gen to bring people together through meaningful events and community engagement.

What began as a grassroots effort to inspire and connect has now grown into a Business & Community Alliance serving Rockland County. Today, Meet Next Gen supports local businesses, hosts impactful annual events, and provides programs and platforms that strengthen both families and entrepreneurs.

Our mission remains the same — to foster a vibrant Rockland where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
